PSL 2023: Know Pakistan Super League Prize Money - Winner, Runner Up, and more
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) previously stated that the champion of the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) would not only be awarded the Supernova Trophy, but also a cash prize of PKR 120 million, while the second-place finisher would receive a cheque of PKR 48 million. All six franchises, which are Islamabad United, Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, Multan Sultans, Peshawar Zalmi, and Quetta Gladiators, have each claimed the HBL PSL championship title at least once.
Pakistan Super League 2023: Pakistan's leading Twenty20 cricket tournament, the Pakistan Super League, commenced its eighth edition on February 13 in Multan, and the season's closing ceremony and final match will be hosted in Lahore on March 19.

Previously, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) declared that the champion of the eighth installment of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) would not only be presented with the Supernova Trophy but also receive a check worth PKR 120 million. The runners-up would be awarded a PKR 48 million check.
The victorious team of the 2022 Pakistan Super League (PSL), Lahore Qalandars, was granted a cash award of PKR 80,000,000, equivalent to approximately Rs 3.4 crore in Indian rupees. Meanwhile, the PSL 2022 runners-up, Multan Sultans, received a cash prize of PKR 32,000,000, approximately Rs 1.37 crore in Indian rupees.

All six franchises, namely Islamabad United, Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, Multan Sultans, Peshawar Zalmi, and Quetta Gladiators, have emerged victorious in the HBL PSL championship at least once. This remarkable achievement not only highlights the exceptional caliber of all six teams but also underscores the intense level of competition present in the tournament.
Islamabad United, who were the winners of the inaugural HBL PSL, hold the record for being the only team to have won the championship twice, with their second triumph coming in 2018. Peshawar Zalmi clinched the title in 2017, while Quetta Gladiators emerged victorious in the 2019 edition after finishing as the runners-up in the first two seasons.
In 2020, Karachi Kings made history by becoming the first team to lift the trophy in front of their home crowd, defeating Lahore Qalandars in the final. The following year, Multan Sultans secured their maiden title, and in the most recent edition of the tournament, held in 2021, Lahore Qalandars lifted the HBL PSL trophy in their home city of Lahore.
