ISL 2022: Four teams are ready for the semi-finals
Four teams have sealed their place in the semi-finals of Hero ISL 2022, with Jamshedpur FC topping the league table. The other teams in the top four are Hyderabad FC, ATK Mohan Bagan and Kerala Blasters FC
The semi-finalists for the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2022 have been determined, with four teams securing their spots. Jamshedpur FC claimed the top spot in the league table and will be joined in the semi-finals by Hyderabad FC, ATK Mohan Bagan, and Kerala Blasters FC, who also finished in the top four.
Jamshedpur FC has surged to the top of the league table with an impressive run of form throughout the season. Meanwhile, the youthful squad of Hyderabad FC has surprised everyone with their numerous and convincing victories against some of the heavyweights in the league.
Despite being a star-studded team, ATK Mohun Bagan faced a season of ups and downs in the league phase of ISL 2022, and it resulted in the departure of their two-time ISL-winning manager, Antonio Lopez Habas. He was replaced by former FC Goa coach, Juan Ferrando. It took some time for the team to adjust under the new leadership, but eventually, under Ferrando's guidance, ATKMB found their run of form and secured a spot in the semi-finals of the tournament.
On the other hand, Ivan Vukomanović's Kerala Blasters had a floundering start to their campaign but eventually found their rhythm, winning crucial matches towards the latter stage of the league phase.
The first-leg semi-finals of the Hero Indian Super League 2022 are scheduled to take place on Friday, March 11, and Saturday, March 12, with the return legs slated for Tuesday, March 15, and Wednesday, March 16.
The Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda, Goa has been chosen as the venue for the Hero ISL Final, which will be held on Sunday, March 20.

It has been announced that the 'Away Goal' rule will not be applicable in the semi-finals of this season's tournament. Instead, teams with the highest goal aggregate across their respective two-legged ties will advance to the final of ISL 2022.
